Turkmen athletes clinched a remarkable haul of 10 gold, 8 silver and 1 bronze medals at the recent international gymnastics’ competition held in Tashkent, Republic of Uzbekistan. The event brought together competitors representing six nations from across the region.
The national team was represented by gymnasts from the 13th Sports School of the Main Directorate of Physical Culture and Sports of Ashgabat. Among the medalists who secured honors of various categories were Mahym Gurbanova, Aygul Geldyeva, Aylar Muhammedova, Mayagozel Amanova, Abadansoltan Amanova, Ketrin Levsova, Iliana Tokarova and Aylin Gurbanmammedova, among others. The athletes prepared for this prestigious tournament under the guidance of coach Dunyagozel Ataniyazova.
Thanks to the visionary efforts of the Hero-Arkadag and under the wise leadership of our Esteemed President, Turkmen athletes actively participate in major international competitions, consistently raising the prestige of their beloved homeland.
