In the etrap of Gökdepe, competitions were held among the national teams of the western region for the championship of the Ahal velayat in volleyball. In these contests, the volleyball players of the Baherden etrap claimed victory among the western region teams. Second place was taken by the team of the sports boarding school for training young Olympic athletes of the Ahal velayat, located in the Babarap gengeshlik.

Among the teams of the eastern region, the winners were the volleyball players of the Serakhs etrap. The team of the Altyn Asyr etrap secured second place. Thus, the teams that placed first and second in their respective regions will determine the velayat champion in the group stage tournament.

The final stage matches of the Ahal velayat volleyball championship will take place on April 6, 2026, at the sports school of the Ak Bugday etrap.
