Turkmen sportsman Muhammetoraz Gulov won a silver medal at the Karate 1-Youth League international world series tournament, which concluded in the Italian resort town of Jesolo on the Adriatic coast in the province of Venice, the Golden age electronic newspaper reports.

The competition, held under the auspices of the World karate federation (WKF), involved 3,378 athletes from 83 countries competing for medals in age categories from 12 to 20 years.

Muhammetoraz Gulov won a silver medal in kumite among boys under 14 years old in the 40 kg weight category.

Muhammetoraz Gulov is a 7^th-grader at secondary school № 1 in Bayramaly city, Mary region, and practices karate under the guidance of coach Serdar Muhammetnazarov.
