The Arkadag football players won their third trophy of the season. In addition to the gold medals of the national championship and the Super Cup, they added the Turkmenistan Cup, having won 1:0 over Ahal in the final at the Ashgabat multifunctional stadium.

The final match of the 2024 Turkmenistan Cup was a tough fight. Its fate was decided by the only goal scored at the end of the first half. In the 45th minute, Begmurad Bayov successfully moved along the left side, from where he gave a magnificent pass to Begench Akmamedov, who shot an unstoppable shot at the goal from within the penalty area.

Arkadag FC, created in April 2023, won the Turkmenistan Cup for the second year in a row. Last year, this team won the trophy, having won a convincing 3:0 victory over Ahal in the final. Thus, to date, the Arkadag team has five national trophies: 2 for winning the top league of the national championship, 2 in the Turkmenistan Cup and 1 in the Super Cup.
