113 sportsmen from Ashgabat, Dashoguz, Lebap and Mary regions of the country gathered for the Turkmenistan Tennis Cup, which started in the capital.
The competition, in which 59 young men and 54 girls aged 13 and over participate, is held on the courts of the multifunctional stadium Ashgabat.
The winners of the Cup will be determined in singles, doubles and mixed categories.
The Turkmenistan Cup is one of the most important annual tournaments, after which the composition of the national team will be determined.
The competition will end on the 22nd of September.
