The Ministry of Sports and Youth Policy of Turkmenistan held a conference ‘Happy Youth – For the Friendship between Peoples’ to strengthen the role of young people in international relations, to increase their political awareness, and to highlight the importance of attracting volunteers to the development of humanitarian cooperation between countries. Representatives of the Ministry of Sports and Youth Policy of Turkmenistan and the Magtymguly Youth Organization of Turkmenistan attended the conference.

M.Achylova, a specialist at the Youth Policy and Mass Sports Department of the Ministry of Sports and Youth Policy of Turkmenistan, chaired the meeting. She highlighted the importance of the work on youth policy in our country and explained the goals of the conference. Later on, the representatives of the Ministry of Sports and Youth Policy of Turkmenistan made their speeches. These speeches focused on the significance of the policy pursued by the Turkmen leader, who puts the concern for the youth first. The participants listened the information on the international cooperation in the field of youth policy initiated by our Motherland.

U.Kakaeva and M.Nurmuhammedova, representatives of the Central Council of the Magtymguly Youth Organization of Turkmenistan, noted the multifaceted social protection of the youth and the activities of the Organization in this area. N.Rejepov, the head at the National Olympic Sports Palace, highlighted the great work in the field of youth policy. A.Myradov, a representative of the Turkmen Sporty newspaper, made his speech on the significance of the statements made by the President of Turkmenistan at the meeting of the Halk Maslahaty of the Milli Gengesh of Turkmenistan, held on February 11. In their speeches, participants expressed sincere gratitude to the President of Turkmenistan for his great trust in the Turkmen youth.
