The Football Federation of Turkmenistan, in collaboration with the Turkmen State Institute of Physical Culture and Sports, held a training seminar as part of the "Young Referee Development" program, the International Information Center of Turkmenistan reports.
For the first time in the country, such an educational project was implemented, with students who completed an 86-hour training curriculum participating. The training concluded with a ceremony for the presentation of special refereeing certificates.
During the seminar, the young specialists studied modern international football rules, nuances of evaluating match situations, and acquired practical skills in making on-field decisions and maintaining psychological resilience during matches.
The organizers noted that the program is an important step in preparing a new generation of football referees and developing the country's sports infrastructure.
