In the multifunctional sports complex of the Turkmen State Institute of Physical Culture and Sports, located in the capital, a judo competition among students of higher educational institutions was held as part of the 15th Universiade under the motto «Turkmenistan — the country of inspiration and health.»

According to the results of the tournament, first place was taken by the team of the Turkmen State Institute of Physical Culture and Sports. Second place was won by the judokas of the Turkmen State Institute of Architecture and Construction. Third place went to the team of the Turkmen State Institute of Economics and Management.
