The champion of Turkmenistan FC Arkadag continues its winning path in the international arena, having beaten Indian East Bengal in the first match of the quarterfinals of the AFC Challenge League™ 2024/25 - 1:0.

Already in the debut of the match, which took place at the Salt Lake stadium in Kolkata, our compatriots seized the initiative, and in the 11th minute they took the lead - 1:0. The goal was scored by Yazgylych Gurbanov, accurately hitting the bottom corner of the goal. Later, our team was able to maintain the winning score. Having achieved a positive result in the first game, FC Arkadag took an important step towards the semi-finals before the return game on March 12 at the 10,000-seat stadium in the city of Arkadag.
