An open championship of the sports school of the State Committee for Physical Culture and Sports of Turkmenistan in ice hockey among athletes born in 2010-2014 was held in Ashgabat. The tournament held from November 19 to December 5 was organized to develop and popularize hockey in Turkmenistan, improve the skills of young athletes and identify talented players.

The competition was a tough fight. Young hockey players confidently moved on the ice and demonstrated their skills and experienced coaches had the opportunity to evaluate the game of their students. According to the results of the tournament, the Oguzkhan team of the Turkmen gas State Concern took 1st place. The Shir team of the Ministry of Trade and Foreign Economic Relations of Turkmenistan took 2nd place, and the Burgut team of the State Committee for Physical Culture and Sports of Turkmenistan took 3rd place.

The winners of the tournament were awarded valuable prizes.
