The Eiffel Tower is ready for the Olympics!

Huge Olympic rings were installed on the Eiffel Tower 50 days before the Olympics.

Five Olympic rings have been placed on the Eiffel Tower on the eve of the Summer Olympic Games, which will begin in Paris in 50 days.

The first person to be photographed in front of the transformed tower was the Mayor of Paris, Anne Hidalgo.

In the lead-up to the Olympic Games in the French capital, the number of people wanting to visit the Eiffel Tower has increased significantly.

The rings, each with a diameter of 9 meters, are made from recycled French steel. The 30-ton structure is attached to the south side of the tower, offering a view of the Seine. The media reports that the Paris Olympic rings surpass in size those installed on the Tower Bridge of London in 2012 but are smaller than those placed on barges in Odaiba, Tokyo in 2020.
