The tennis championship of Turkmenistan has started on the courts of the multifunctional Ashgabat Stadium.

Around 150 boys and girls from Ashgabat and the regions of the country are participating in the competition organized by the State Committee for Sports and the Tennis Federation of Turkmenistan.

The winners and medalists will be determined in two age categories – up to 14 and 18 years old.

The Turkmenistan Championship is one of the most important annual tournaments, after which the composition of the youth national teams will be determined among juniors up to 14 and 18 years old.

The competition will end on May 6th.
