On April 15-20, the State Committee of Turkmenistan for Physical Culture and Sports will hold the International Ice Hockey Tournament in Ashgabat. The matches will take place on the small and large arenas of the Winter Sports Complex. The opening ceremony will be held on April 15.

The hockey teams from 10 countries: Russia, Belarus, Iran, Turkey, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Oman and Bahrain, and a team from Turkmenistan will compete in the tournament.

The tournament will take place in two stages. At the first stage, the teams divided into two groups will play in the round-robin tournament. The Group A and B winners will qualify for the finals, and the runners-up will compete for the 3rd place.
