Galkan (Turkmenistan) and ADIHIC-Kazan (Republic of Tatarstan of the Russian Federation) will compete in the final for the main prize of the International Hockey Tournament in Ashgabat.

Feniks (Uzbekistan) and Volat (Belarus) will play in the 3rd place playoff. This has become known today following the last group matches in Groups A and B.

In Group A, Feniks from Uzbekistan beat 6-1 (2-0, 3-1, 1-0) Ice Box Iran Mall from Iran, and Oman Nationals from Oman defeated 3-2 (1-1, 1-1, 1-0) Bahrain Ice Hockey Club from Bahrain in the 5th round.

In Group B, Belarusian Volat won a 2-1 victory over Dordoi from Kyrgyzstan in overtime after the two teams had finished in a drew 1-1 (0-0, 0-0, 1-1) in the regular rime. Russian ADIHIC-Kazan from the Republic of Tatarstan beat 6-1 (1-0, 2-0, 3-1) Aqmola from Kazakhstan.

Final rankings of the teams:

Group A: 1. Galkan – 12 points, 2. Feniks – 9 points, 3. Ice Box Iran Mall – 6 points, 4. Oman Nationals – 3 points, 5. Bahrain Ice Hockey Club – 0 points.

Group B: 1. ADIHIC-Kazan – 12 points, Volat – 8 points, 3. Aqmola – 6 points, 4. Dordoi – 4 points, 5. Team Turkiye – 0 points.

The final and the 3rd place playoff will be held on the large ice arena of the Winter Sports Complex on April 20.
