A boxing tournament organized within the XIII Universiade ‘Turkmenistan – the Home of Health and Inspiration’ concluded in Ashgabat. The students from 17 national institutions of higher education took part in the competitions.

94 athletes competed for medals in 8 weight class events at the Taze Zaman Physical Culture and Health Centre in Ashgabat.

According to the results of the tournament, the team of Turkmen State Institute of Physical Education and Sports won the first place. The students of Turkmen State Architecture and Construction Institute became the runners-up. The boxers from the Institute of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Turkmenistan entered the top three.
