FC Arkadag held its first test match in preparation for the new season of the 2024 Turkmenistan Championships. The match took place in Antalya, Turkey, where the team are holding training sessions, the Football Federation of Turkmenistan reports.

The team under the supervision of head coach Vladimir Bayramov won 1-0 in the match with FK Vardar from North Macedonia. The only goal was scored by striker Altymurat Annadurdyev.

FC Arkadag was founded in April last year and immediately achieved impressive success in the domestic arena – it won the gold medals of the Turkmenistan Championships and the Turkmenistan Cup ahead of schedule.

This year, Arkadag is preparing to defend the champion title. The new season of the Turkmenistan Football Championships for the Supreme League clubs is scheduled to start on March 4.
