Turkmenistan is preparing for the XXXIII Summer Olympic Games and the XVII Paralympic Games, which will be held in Paris.

The President of Turkmenistan signed the Resolution authorising to set up the Organising Committee for the preparation of the Turkmenistan national teams for the XXXIII Summer Olympic Games and the XVII Paralympic Games.

Turkmenistan will be represented at the main sports forum in 9 sports (boxing, athletics, weightlifting, swimming, freestyle wrestling, Greco-Roman wrestling, 3x3 basketball, judo and powerlifting). The athletes who successfully participate in the qualification events will compete in the Olympic Games in Paris.

Modern sports complexes and facilities that meet international standards have been built throughout Turkmenistan. Our national teams hold regular training sessions under the supervision of experienced coaches in the country and abroad.
