2022 is coming to an end in the sports history of Turkmenistan. This year has brought the Turkmen athletes significant success in the international arena. In this regard, students of vocational and higher educational institutions are reliable assistants and partners in training high-level athletes.
The important sporting events in the life of our country are the Sports Games and Universiades. These competitions are organised each year by the State Committee for Physical Culture and Sports and the Ministry of Education in such sports as swimming, athletics, tennis, table tennis, chess, 3x3 basketball, sambo, kurash wrestling, freestyle wrestling, Greco-Roman wrestling , futsal, basketball, badminton, handball, cycling and boxing.
University students and students of secondary and primary vocational schools and secondary schools take part in the sporting events of the Sports Games and Universiades.
These sports competitions will continue in 2023. We wish every success to the participants of the Games.
