The circle of contenders for the Turkmenistan Cup – the second major football club trophy of Turkmenistan has narrowed to four teams. The current Cup winners Shagadam from Turkmenbashi, the last year’s Cup finalists Ahal, the current champions of Turkmenistan Altyn asyr and Ashgabat will continue to compete for the trophy. This was determined by the results of the return quarterfinals.
Ahal vs Altyn asyr and Ashgabat vs Shagadam will play in the semi-finals. The first legs will take place on October 26, and the return legs on November 22.
The 2022 Turkmenistan Cup winners will be known in the final on December 11, which will mark the 27th anniversary of the international recognition of the status of neutrality of Turkmenistan.
