On August 17, a Turkmen kickboxer Atajan Atamyradov won a silver medal of the 5th Islamic Solidarity Games.
A 4th year student from the State Institute of Physical Culture and Sports Atajan Atamyradov performed in the under 54 kg category. He brought a well-deserved silver medal to the Turkmenistan team in the final.
Athletes from Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan, Morocco, Kyrgyzstan and Turkey competed with the Turkmen kickboxer for medals.
