The Joint Programme of the Government of Turkmenistan and United Nations on «Empowering and Engaging Youth to Mitigate the Multi-Dimensional Threats of the Health Pandemic» was launched on September 21, 2021. In this regard, the first meeting of the Steering Committee of this programme was held in an online format.
The representatives of ministries and public authorities, NGOs of Turkmenistan, as well as United Nations agencies, international experts took part in the first meeting of the Steering Committee.
As it known, the Ministry of Sport and Youth Policy of Turkmenistan has been appointed a responsible structure from Turkmen side for implementation of the Joint Programme.
The participants of the online meeting discussed issues related to the organization on a high-level of events in the field of youth policy, as well as the successful achievement of the expected results planned under the Joint Programme.
