People of Romania learn the history, culture and traditions of Turkmen nation

Exhibition dedicated to International Nowruz Day was opened in Bucharest on March 19. The event has been organized  by diplomatic missions of Turkmenistan and Iran to Romania with support of Dimitrie Gusti National Rural Museum.

Minister of Culture of Romania Bogdan Georgiu has visited the exhibition. The opening ceremony of the exhibition has been broadcasted online via official webpage of the museum and social networks.

Representatives of diplomatic corps as well as various establishments of Romania, public, cultural and mass media personnel, students including Turkmen youth were the guests of the event.

Manager of Dimitires Gusti National Rural Museum Paulina Popoiu, the Ambassadors of Turkmenistan and the Islamic Republic of Iran have addressed the participants of the ceremony with greeting speech.

The official part was followed by celebration concert, which presented original music traditions of Turkmen people including the art of bakhshy.

National display of Turkmenistan introduces historical and cultural heritage, traditions, natural attractions, modern image of the capital, achievements of the age of independence. Big interest of the visitors was raised by excellent carpet production, national fabrics and handmade embroidery, jewelry and souvenirs. Works of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov have been widely represented in book section.
