28.12.2019. President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov visited the Olympic Town in Ashgabat, where three major international sporting events would take place in 2020.

Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers P. Agamyradov, Ashgabat Hyakim Sh. Durdylyyev and Minister of Sport and Youth Policy D. Gulgeldiyev greeted the President of Turkmenistan at the venue.

The President started the conversation immediately upon arrival, expressing his interest in the current situation and asking specific questions about various directions of on-going activities at the Olympic Town.

President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov instructed the high-ranking officials to effectively use existing sport infrastructure in the country and the practice in the organization of international tournaments, wished them every success and left the venue.
