As was reported, the Turkmenistan national volleyball team performed in the international volleyball tournament, which took place in the capital of Uzbekistan, and won silver medals.

The matches were held at the sports complex of the Tashkent Railway Engineering Institute. The Turkmen volleyball players played with the hosts of the tournament – the Uzbekistan national team and the national teams of Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan in the decisive matches.

The members of our national team – the best representatives of their teams demonstrated a tactically competent, attack model of the game. They lost only to the Uzbekistan team and gained convincing victories over other rivals.

The winners of the tournament are the volleyball players from Uzbekistan; they took the first place and gold medals. The volleyball players from Turkmenistan took the second place and silver medals and the team from the Kyrgyz Republic took the third place and bronze medals. The tournament was organized by the Ministry of Physical Culture and Sports of Uzbekistan.
