A lot of people gathered at the sports boarding school in Babarap etrap, where the event entitled “Road Traffic Safety – the Peace in Our Life” took place. It was organised by the Ahal Velayat Chief Department of Sport and Youth Policy. Those speaking at the meeting underlined the importance of adhering to the road safety rules; given an increased traffic intensity, this is a priority theme for everyone. Together with the informative reports on the importance of taking cautions while on a road, the organisers of the event distributed visual aids among specialists of the Chief Department of Sport and Youth Policy, schoolchildren and other participants.

Good habits in children are instilled from an early age; the organisers – the Ahal Velayat Chief Department of Sport and Youth Policy therefore decided to approach this process in the format of a game, i.e. a contest in Babarap etrap. On September 18, the contest aimed at raising awareness about road safety rules was held at the sports boarding school in Baparap village in the framework of the Road Traffic Safety – the Peace in Our Life campaign. The main participants in the contest – children had an opportunity to display their knowledge on this theme in drawings and essays, and written tests helped them remember what they had learned.
