The Turkmenistan Judo Championships will be held in the capital of Turkmenistan from 28 to 29 September. The sporting event is organised by the Ministry of Sport and Youth Policy of Turkmenistan. The selection of the candidates to the national team as well as the judokas who will represent Turkmenistan on the tatami of international tournaments will be based on its results. It should be noted that great attention is paid to promoting judo in our country and bringing it to an international level. This is illustrated by the performance of Turkmen judokas at numerous prestigious international Grand Prix tournaments this year where they have showed good results.
