On 2 August 2026, the Turkmenistan Super Cup football match took place at Nusaý Stadium in Ashgabat, where Arkadag faced Ahal.

Arkadag earned the right to compete in the Super Cup as the reigning Turkmenistan champions and winners of the Turkmenistan Cup. Ahal qualified for the match as the runners-up of the Turkmenistan Cup.

Arkadag and Ahal met in the Super Cup for the third consecutive year. As in the previous two editions, Arkadag emerged victorious, securing a convincing 3–0 win to claim the Turkmenistan Super Cup title.

The Turkmenistan Super Cup has been contested annually since 2005. Altyn Asyr is the competition's most successful club, having won the trophy eight times, while Ahal has lifted the Super Cup on four occasions.
