On June 13–14, the Asian Kurash Championship was held in Dushanbe, bringing together the strongest athletes from across Asia.

The Turkmenistan national team performed successfully in the tournament. The team, which included representatives from both the men's and women's national teams, was led by Honored Coaches of Turkmenistan Dortguly Tejenov and Shirin Kubayeva.

Following the competition, Turkmen athletes won two silver and four bronze medals, demonstrating their high level of training and representing the country with dignity on the international sports arena.
