The competition “National games - the legacy of healthy generations” was organized among students and teachers of the “Olimp” secondary sports school of the State Committee for Physical Culture and Sports of Turkmenistan.

National games, inherited from our ancestors to our descendants, have a long historical path, and they have reached our present blessed time. Each of the national games has a great significance. National games, which teach the best principles of communicating with the public in the future, serve as a great school in the upbringing of Turkmen generations. Our people have also directed the rules, order, and performance of various national games to the upbringing of children, linking them with upbringing.

In our wonderful time, in the era of progress and innovations, mass physical education and sports have become an integral part of our life. Mass sports events are widely held everywhere. Currently, large sports complexes, stadiums, sports schools that meet international standards have been built in our country, and modern sports facilities have been created.  At the same time, for the benefit of the people’s welfare and happiness, health care centers equipped with innovative technologies, specialized hospitals, and sanatoriums have been built in our capital Ashgabat and in regional centers, and great progress has been made in creating a leading health care system that meets international standards.

In this regard, the competition “National Games - the Heritage of Healthy Generations” held at the “Olimp” secondary sports school was very useful and effective for young athletes, and students actively participated in it with great morale.
