Effective measures for the development of the sports sector are being consistently implemented in our country. In Turkmenistan, which impresses the world with its rapid pace of development, national sports are reaching new heights. It is important to note that, thanks to large-scale efforts, broad opportunities are being created for the younger generation to train at modern sports facilities and improve in various disciplines, serving as a model for the world.
Under such conditions, the sports sector is achieving new milestones, while Turkmen athletes, attaining significant success on the international stage, bring glory to their homeland. It should be especially emphasized that the foundation of the large-scale initiatives of the Hero Arkadag and the esteemed President lies in efforts aimed at ensuring a peaceful and prosperous life for the people.
All conditions are being created in our country for the younger generation to grow up happy and healthy. Initiatives aimed at providing modern education, encouraging sports participation, and harmoniously combining studies with science and creativity are clear evidence of the high level of attention given to the future of youth. All this forms an important part of the dynamic development of the sports sector.
Thus, the material and technical base of Turkmen sports is steadily strengthening. The construction of modern sports facilities that meet international standards across all regions of the country contributes not only to the development of professional sports but also to the promotion of a healthy lifestyle in society.
Large-scale competitions held in the country also play an important role in attracting young people to sports. A vivid example of this was the competition organized at the Winter Sports Complex of the capital on the occasion of the National Spring Holiday — International Nowruz Day. The open championship of the Sports School of the State Committee for Physical Culture and Sports of Turkmenistan in ice hockey among athletes born in 2013–2016 was held in an exciting and competitive atmosphere.
In addition, events dedicated to national holidays are regularly held at our sports complex, where athletes present demonstration performances on the ice arena. Such events are an important stage in the development of sports. Behind all these achievements stand the tremendous efforts of the Hero Arkadag and the esteemed President, to whom we express our sincere gratitude.
