Selim Myratdurdyyev, a coach at Sports School No. 1 of the Main Department for Physical Culture and Sports of Ashgabat, and Medine Gailyyeva, an 8th-grade student of Secondary School No. 20 in Balkanabat, took part in the international traditional karate tournament “Krakow Cup” held in Krakow (Republic of Poland) and won bronze medals.

About 880 athletes from 14 countries participated in the competition. The tournament became an important stage in preparing Turkmen athletes for future world competitions.
