From December 19 to 25, 2024, the Asian Weightlifting Championships for youth and juniors were held in Doha, Qatar. A total of 237 athletes from 20 countries participated in the inrernational competition.

Our athletes won a total of 28 medals during the Championship, including 11 gold medals. Turkmen weightlifters also won 8 silver medals and 9 bronze medals.

As the results of the Asian Championship in Qatar show, our athletes are achieving great success in the sport of weightlifting. This is due to the special attention currently given to the development of weightlifting and the identification of talented young athletes.
