Turkmenistan’s Altyn Asyr FC fought back from a goal down to defeat East Bengal of India 3-2 in their AFC Champions League Two™ Preliminary Stage on Wednesday.
The match took place in Kolkata.
In the 7th minute David Lalhlansanga from East Bengal opened the scoring. In the 17th minute Myrat Annayev leveled the score – 1:1. In the 28th minute Selim Nurmyradov put Altyn Asyr ahead for the first time – 2:1. With this score the teams went into the break.
In the 52nd minute Altyn Asyr scored the third goal. This time Mihail Titov scored. In the 59th minute Saul Crespo reduced the deficit to 2:3. In the remaining minutes this score did not change.
Altyn Asyr's opponents in the group stage of the AFC Champions League Two™ will be determined by the results of the draw, which will take place on August 16 in Kuala Lumpur.
