On July 26, 2024, the Olympic Flame arrived at the Olympic Village in the Paris district of Saint-Denis on the opening day of the XXXIII Summer Olympic Games. Athletes and coaches in the Olympic Village warmly welcomed the flame, which had traveled along the Seine and through Saint-Denis, making its final, 68th stop in France.
It is worth noting that the Olympic Torch Relay featured renowned athletes, cultural and artistic stars, as well as prominent public figures. Among them were the President of the International Olympic Committee, Thomas Bach, former UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon, and others. During the relay, participants visited historical and cultural landmarks in the district. The public had the opportunity to meet and take photos with the athletes participating in the relay.
