03/16/2024. The next phase of the large-scale tree planting programme was launched in Turkmenistan. President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov and National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov took part in the nationwide tree planting action.
In the era of the Revival of the new epoch of the powerful state, targeted measures are taken in the country to protect the environment, efficiently use natural resources and advance the green economy transition in line with the ancient traditions of caring for nature.
This year’s campaign to lay out gardens and parks is to dress all the regions of the beautifying Turkmen land in green “attire”. Man-made forest parks are a kind of ‘lungs’ of the country – an important factor contributing to environmental safety and therefore the well-being and health of the nation.
