September was a month full of events, including football competitions and matches. After the Knowledge and Students Day, during the FIFA days, our national football team played the friendly matches in preparation for the World Cup. Our youth team held a Asian Cup qualification match. The leaders of the national championships joined the competitions under the banner of the AFC, continuing a series of happy moments on the eve of Independence Day.
On September 19, Ahal that play in the AFC Champions League hosted the Saudi Arabia Cup winners Al Fayha at the Ashgabat stadium. The match ended with a score of 1:0 in favour of our compatriots.
