The ceremony of signing the Agreement on holding the World Kurash Championship in the Turkmen capital this year and handing over of the flag of the International Kurash Association to our country was held in the conference hall of the State Committee on Physical Culture and Sports of Turkmenistan.

Representatives of the State Committee on Physical Culture and Sports of Turkmenistan, officials of the Kurash Federation of the country, and a delegation led by Haider Farman, President of the International Kurash Association, attended the event. In this context, it should be noted that the delegation included the Vice-President on International Relations and Events, the Secretary General, the Technical Director and the Head of the Administration of the International Kurash Association.

The moments when the officials of the State Committee on Physical Culture and Sports of Turkmenistan, the Kurash Federation of the country and the International Kurash Association signed the Agreement on holding the World Kurash Championship in Ashgabat indicated that the potential of Turkmenistan, which has become a sports power, is recognized by the most prestigious sports federations and organizations. This fact was also reflected in the speech made by President of the International Kurash Association.

The ceremony of handing over of the flag of the International Kurash Association to Turkmenistan, the host of the upcoming World Championship, was exciting and unforgettable.
