The solemn Closing Ceremony of the II CIS Games took place at Minsk-Arena.

The Russian team with 288 medals topped the medal table of the CIS Games. The Russian athletes won 149 gold, 89 silver and 50 bronze medals.

The Belarusian team ranked second in the medal table (48-78-110), and the Uzbek team ranked third (28-25-52).

The Turkmenistan national team performed in 13 sports at the II CIS Games and won medals in more than half of them.

The competitions were held in Belarus on August 4-13.
