The Tennis Complex of the Ashgabat Olympic Village will host the Central Asian U12 Tennis Competition from 5 to 9 June. The State Committee for Physical Culture and Sports of Turkmenistan is conducting large-scale preparatory work jointly with the Tennis Federation of Turkmenistan and the Asian Tennis Federation to hold this international tournament at the high organisational level.
The Ashgabat Open U12 Tennis Championships is being held at the Tennis Complex of the Ashgabat Olympic Village in preparation for the test event, which will be held in June.
The tournament draw took place on May 1. The opening ceremony of the tournament took place on May 2, and young tennis players started competing for prizes.
The Open Championships, organised by the Tennis Federation of Turkmenistan together with the Ashgabat Main Department of Physical Culture and Sports will finish on May 5. Winners and prize-winners will receive medals and certificates of honour.
