The young footballers from Turkmenistan gained a convincing victory in the international youth football tournament Caspian Cup 2019 U12, which took place in the Russian city of Astrakhan.

 Together with the Turkmenistan national team, two hosting teams (the Oblast team and Volgar), two teams from Kazakhstan (the national team and Kurmangazy), Lotos (Republic of Kalmykia, Russia) and Neftci (Azerbaijan) competed in the tournament. The matches were held in a circular system on the small arena of the State Autonomous Institution of Astrakhan Oblast «Regional Football Training Centre Volgar».

This success of our young compatriots is doubly significant, as the young footballers coached by Eziz Annamuhammedov, who had made their debut in the international sports arena, didn’t lose a game, won four games and ended two games in a draw.
