Chairman of the State Committee for Physical Culture and Sports of Turkmenistan Gulmyrat Agamyradov and Ambassador of the Republic of Belarus to Turkmenistan Vyacheslav Beskosty meet to discuss promotion of bilateral sports relations.

The interlocutors considered the participation of Turkmen athletes in the II CIS Games, which will take place in the Republic of Belarus from 4 to 14 August 2023. The hosts of the upcoming sports competition are actively preparing to stage the high-level Games.

  The competitions will be held in Minsk, Brest, Vitebsk, Gomel, Grodno, Zhlobin, Mogilev, Molodechchensk, Orsha and Soligorsk Regions.

The programme of the II CIS Games will include basketball, handball, beach volleyball, beach football, mini-football and field hockey.

The Games opening and closing ceremonies will be held at the Minsk-Arena sports and entertainment complex.

Kazan (Republic of Tatarstan, Russian Federation) hosted the I CIS Games in September 2021.
