The first meeting of the Council of Elders of the Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Charitable Foundation for Assistance to Children in Need of Guardianship revealed that the concern for the elders is a noble tradition and a wonderful principle in our country. The event was presided by our Hero-Arkadag Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and demonstrated that the noble principles of the Turkmen people were cherished.

The State Committee on Physical Culture and Sports of Turkmenistan held a meeting under the motto ‘the Principle of the Elders is a Model for the Youth’, dedicated to the abovementioned event. Representatives of departments of the State Committee on Physical Culture and Sports of Turkmenistan took part in the ceremonial meeting.

The participants of the meeting noted in their speeches that representatives of the older generations set a great example for the youth. They emphasized with great pride that the first meeting of the Council of Elders of the Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Charitable Foundation for Assistance to Children in Need of Guardianship, presided by our Hero-Arkadag, became a vivid example of that fact.
