The Ashgabat Volleyball Championship was held by the Young Olympians School of the State Committee on Physical Culture and Sports of Turkmenistan and the Ashgabat Committee on Physical Culture and Sports. The event took place in the School's volleyball hall.

In this context, it should be noted that the Young Olympians School organised a special edition of the Ashgabat Championship and made the scope of the event wider this year. Thus, the competition was close and tense. The matches between strong teams were the focus of everyone's attention.

The team of the Young Olympians School defeated all opponents and became the champion of the tournament. The Yedigen team of the Ashgabat Committee on Physical Culture and Sports won the second place. The Yedigen II team entered the top three.

The winners were awarded with the letters of honour and special gifts prepared by the organisers.
