The Turkmenistan kickboxing team successfully performed in the kickboxing tournament of the 5th Islamic Solidarity Games.
On the last day of the competition, August 18, a 1st year student of the State Institute of Physical Culture and Sports of Turkmenistan Omargeldy Nurgeldiyev won a bronze medal in the under 54 kg category.
Omargeldy competed with athletes from Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan and Algeria in the kickboxing tournament.
The athletes of Turkmenistan, who performed in 10 sports, won 22 medals.
