Representatives of the Ministry of Sports and Youth Policy of Turkmenistan, the Youth Affairs Agency of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Embassy of the Republic of Uzbekistan in Turkmenistan took part in an online meeting held on May 4.

At the beginning of the meeting, the participants noted the importance of youth policy in the framework of the developing cooperation between two countries. The issues related to bilateral cooperation in the field of youth policy were discussed at the meeting. In this context, the participants highlighted the work of the Youth Forum, which is scheduled to be held in the Republic of Uzbekistan on May 18–21, 2022. The participants noted that the forum would be a new step in the development of the Turkmen-Uzbek relations in the field of youth policy. They emphasized the need to attract the youth to participation in festivals, exhibitions, fairs, conferences, symposia and seminars between two friendly countries to develop international cooperation in the field of youth policy.

At the end of the meeting, the participants expressed confidence that the Turkmen-Uzbek relations will continue to flourish in the future.
