Summer Asian Games

The 19th Summer Asian Games will be held in Hanzhou, People's Republic of China from September 23 to October 8, 2023

Around 11,000 to 12,000 athletes from about 45 countries are expected to take part in the 19th Summer Asian Games.

Athletes will compete in 44 sports, namely aquatics, archery, athletics, badminton, baseball, basketball, basketball 3x3, boxing, bridge (card game in double or team), canoe, chess, cricket, cycling, dragon boat (like academic rowing, but in the form of a dragon boat), equestrian, fencing, football, golf, gymnastics, climbing, handball, hockey, jiu-jitsu, judo, karate, wrestling, pentathlon, rowing, roller sport, rugby, skateboarding, sailing, sepaktakraw (like foot volleyball), soft tennis (playing on a racket tennis court), softball, squash, table tennis, taekwondo, tennis, triathlon, volleyball, weightlifting, wrestling , wushu and e-sports.

The national teams of Turkmenistan will take part in the Games competing in kurash, boxing, athletics, basketball 3x3, judo, karate, swimming, weightlifting, wrestling (freestyle and Greco-Roman), jiu-jitsu and e-sports.
