On January 14, 2022, the President held a regular meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers via videoconference to discuss the priority issues of life of the state and consider the draft documents.

Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers S. Toylyev reported on the fulfillment of the instructions of the leader of Turkmenistan. The Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers reported on the performance of Turkmen athletes at the major international competitions, including the XXXII Olympic Games in Tokyo. In this regard, the programme for the complex preparation of the Turkmenistan national teams for the forthcoming 2024 Summer Olympic Games in Paris will be designed.         

With the aim to prepare athletes in different sports and improve their skills, as well as create conditions conducive to achieving high results, it is planned to conduct training sessions and training camps at the sports facilities of the Olympic Town and the Avaza sports complex, stuffed with advanced technologies and training equipment that meet international standards.

In this context, the draft Resolution was submitted for consideration to the President.

Noting that sport had been an envoy of peace and good will at all times, the President of Turkmenistan highlighted the need for the thorough preparation for the 2024 Summer Olympic and Paralympic Games in Paris.

The President approved the proposals and signed the Resolution. The Turkmen leader sent the document in a digital system and instructed to execute it.
