A solemn ceremony ‘Following the Way of Arkadag’ took place in the conference hall of the Ministry of Sports and Youth Policy of Turkmenistan and was dedicated to the motto of the year 2022 ‘the Era of the People with Arkadag’. Representatives of the Ministry of Sports and Youth Policy of Turkmenistan, the Democratic Party of Turkmenistan and the Ashgabat Main Department on Sports and Youth Policy attended the event.

P.Agaev, Deputy Minister of Sports and Youth Policy of Turkmenistan, noted at the ceremony that last year was marked by great achievements in sports and youth policy. He proudly emphasized that 2022, being held under the motto ‘the Era of the People with Arkadag’, would also be a year of impressive success in sports and youth policy. Didar Hydyrov, a representative of the Ashgabat Committee of the Democratic Party of Turkmenistan, highlighted the great work conducted in our country and the important aspects of the state policy put forward by the President of Turkmenistan.

Dovlet Hangeldiev, the principal at the sports school 10 of the Ashgabat Main Department on Sports and Youth Policy, explained the content of the sports and youth policy put forward by the President of Turkmenistan. Tavus Akmyradova, a teacher at the school for the young Olympians, drew the audience’s attention to the fact that the above-mentioned policy enhances the international prestige of Turkmenistan. Byashim Hamedov, Head of the Culture Department of the Ashgabat Multipurpose Stadium, noted that every event adorns the pages of history with joyous content in the epoch of might and happiness. The solemn ceremony was notable for loud applause of the participants and the words ‘Glory to Arkadag, glory to sport’ as a sign of sincere gratitude to the Turkmen leader.
