In the sports complex of the Kuban State University (Krasnodar, Russian Federation) the Vth football tournament among student teams of Russia and a number of foreign countries was held. Our country was represented by the Khazar team created with the assistance of the Turkmenistan Consulate in Astrakhan, which included students enrolled in higher educational institutions of the Krasnodar Territory.

Our team was able to get through to the semifinals, it was prevented from reaching the final by stronger rivals. Competitions for the student cup, held on the eve of the 74th anniversary of the Great Victory, were held in a friendly atmosphere.

The winners were awarded medals and certificates of honor.
