President of the Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI) David Lappartient and Minister of Sport and Youth Policy of Turkmenistan Dayanch Gulgeldyev  held a teleconference meeting at the track cycling complex of the Ashgabat Olympic Town.

The Turkmen side was represented by Minister D. Gulgeldyev, Secretary General of the National Olympic Committee of Turkmenistan A. Muradov, Director of the National Cycling Technical Committee of Turkmenistan G. Hojamuradov and Head of the Cycling Federation of Turkmenistan D. Annaev.

Together with President David Lappartient , UCI Director General Amina Lanaya and Head of the Department of International Relations Vincent Jacquet represented the UCI at the meeting.

A lively exchange of views on the development of bilateral cooperation, in particular, the organizational issues of the 2021 World Track Cycling Championships in Ashgabat, took place during the meeting. The agenda also focused on the activities related to the preparation of the members of the Turkmenistan track cycling team for the world championships.
